How do essential oils work?

When it comes to essential oils, the aroma, therapeutic properties and even safety issues can be affected by the chemotype

Are essential oils safe?

Essential oils are extracted from plant materials through distillation.
If the correct dosage of essential oil is applied, essential oils are safe. Essential oils are for external use only.

How should I use essential oils?

Each essential oil have a specific dosage and use (massage, bath, diffusion). Please refer to the product instructions for use. Essential oils are for external use only.

Should I ingest essential oils?

Auziere essential oils are for external use only. You should not drink essential oils.

How should I store Auziere products?

Make sure to keep Auziere products away from light and heat.
Keep out of reach of children.

Can I apply essential oils directly to my skin?

Auziere essential oils should always be diluted with vegetable oil or in a bath. In their pure form, essential oils are highly concentrated and can irritate your skin. You should not apply essential oils directly to your skin.

Can I use auziere products if I am pregnant?

We do not recommend to use auziere if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Is the essential oil dosage important?

In their pure form, essential oils are highly concentrated. Following the dosage and the type of use is important. Please refer to each essential oil for the exact dosage.

What should I do if a small amout of essential oil is in contact with my eyes?

In case of contact with your eyes, you should rinse straight away with a physiological saline solution or clear water.

What if I experience skin discomfort or irritation?

If you feel any discomfort while using essential oils, stop using it and apply a vegetable oil to the area. Do not use water to take the essential oil off your skin.
If you still feel discomfort, please seek medical attention. Make sure to have product container or label at hand.
To fully enjoy the properties of essential oils, you should always dilute it with vegetable oil before applying to skin.

Can essential oils be applied to sensitive areas?

We recommend that you avoid any contact with EOs and sensitive areas such as eyes, ears, genitals and mucous membranes.

What about the use of essential oils if I have a medical condition? Can essential oils interact with prescription medications?

Please consult with your health advisor before using essential oils if you have a medical condition.
Seek the advice about potential interactions between the medication and the essential oil.

When should I not use auziere products?

Do not use Auziere products if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please carefully refer to the caution of each product before using it.

What are the risks with essential oils?

Due to the high concentration of essential oil and the fact that different people may be allergic to different plants, the risk of using essential oil is mainly reflected in skin allergies and chemical burns. Even for purely natural plant, improper use even carries a risk of harming the liver.

Don’t inject or swallow essential oils and apply only out of the body. Please respest the dosage. Stop using immediately when feeling discomfort and consult medical advice when nessacessary.

Can I blend several essential oils?

By combining essential oils, you obtain very potent synergies.
Synergies are blends that capitalize on essential oil complementary therapeutic properties.
Diffuse these synergies in your home to enjoy a natural and pleasant aroma. Add it to your bath or massage your skin to heal your body and mind.

Is the expiration date important?

To ensure product effectiveness and avoid risk of use, please respect the expiration date to get the best experience.

What are photosensitizing essential oils?

Photosensitivity is a process where a given chemical absorbs ultraviolet light and initiates a reaction, typically on the skin.
Photosensitizing essential oils can cause serious skin damage when exposed to the sun such as redness, itching, burns, blisters, and skin discoloration.
Avoid sunlight for up to 6 hours after application on skin.
